How did you get started with bodybuilding?
I was introduced to bodybuilding/fitness by my ex boyfriend Dennis Smith who is a bodybuilder and my fitness friend Sidney Jones.
How do you stay so motivated? What drives you?
I am a full time personal trainer so I stay motivated so that I can motivate others.
What is your training routine like?
My weekly training split is back and biceps, shoulders, legs, chest and triceps and repeat with at least one day of rest each week. Every now and then I take a Body Pump class at my gym.
If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?
If I had to choose only 3 exercises it would be squats, deadlifts, and lunges because squats and deadlifts are the very best exercises to build your glutes. 🙂
What is your favourite form of cardio?
My favorite form of cardio is walking outdoors especially on the Arthur Ravenel bridge.
What is your diet like?
I eat 5 to 6 small meals a day starting with 4 egg whites and one whole egg and 1/4 cup oatmeal, next is a protein shake, then tuna and brown rice usually, then another protein shake, and then chicken breast and veggies for dinner.
What supplements do you use?
I currently take glutamine, Beverly’s UMP (Ultimate Muscle Protein), Cellucor Super HD, and Beverly’s ZMAs at bedtime.
What is the highlight of your fitness career?
I earned my IFBB pro card in figure in July of 2006.
