How did you get started with bodybuilding?

My family has always been pretty active, in high school I was dancing but really wanted to put on some muscle so I joined a gym and started lifting.

How do you stay so motivated? What drives you?

My motivation comes from wanting to push myself to do better and be better. I love seeing progress and I know I am building a healthy future for myself. It’s not only physically satisfying to workout but also mentally, knowing you’re working towards a better version of yourself.

What is your training routine like?

Like most females, I love keeping the lower half of my body nice and toned so I hit legs three times a week, two glute focused and one leg focused. The other 4 days of the week Ι alternate between a back day, shoulder/chest day and arm day. I use the heaviest weights I am able to rep for several sets always pushing myself to do more.

What are your three favourite exercises?

For legs/glutes my favorite would have to be pulse squats. For back I like close grip rows. And for shoulders definitely around the worlds.

What is your favourite form of cardio?

I walk on incline for cardio, in my opinion it’s the best way to burn fat, calories and maintain muscle.

What is your diet like?

I eat around 2000 calories a day to maintain my weight, trying not to eat too many carbs and balancing out veggies and protein. I am not too strict on my diet, I like to indulge but I still stay conscious not to eat badly.

What supplements do you use?

Currently I don’t take supplements, I take fish oil and probiotics but that’s all I put in my body.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in the fitness industry?

Recently I became an athlete for an amazing team called @tilyoucollapse. It’s an athletic clothing line with the most amazing leggings I have ever worn. The girls on the team are all so motivating and supportive. It’s really brought me closer to fitness and made me feel so much more connected with the fitness community.
